Meeting the Parents Cheatsheet

Yesterday was the last day of “The 12 Days of Going Home for the Holidays.”  Our Christmas gift to you (apologies to those who celebrate Winter in a different way) is a Meeting the Parents cheatsheet.

1. Bring Presents:  Everybody loves presents - especially your sweetums’ parents.  Revisit the post for gift ideas.
2. Remember the Kiddos:  Nothing says “good impression” like acknowledging children.
3. Keep Yourself Occupied: Give the family time to be together without you.
4. Improve yourself: Excellent book recommendations.  And here’s a bonus!
5. Be a Good Houseguest:  The Do’s and Don’t’s of visiting a stranger’s home.

7. Be Agreeable: It’s not always easy, but it is always worthwhile.
8. Keep it Clean: Follow Stephanie’s guidelines to prevent awkward moments.
9. Make Friends: Use these three tips to get to know the ‘rents.
10. Call Your Mom:  Because you care.
